Staying as Cairns Kangarooms was an enjoyable experience, the facility was well secured, and the other guests were very welcoming. This accommodation is students only so everyone else is similar in age and lifestyle. The accommodation includes a pool, shared kitchen, shared bathroom, weekly cleaning and fully furnished room (desk, chair, single bed and wardrobe).

Commute Cairns Kangarooms is a 10-15 minute walk from Cairns Private Hospital. It is an enjoyable 30 minute walk from the further out Westcourt Clinic. There is a major bus stop at Cairns Central which is about 500 meters from the accommodation, this allows easy travel to tourist spots like Palm Cove.
